Will my coral attach itself to something?

I got my first coral the other day! Its a xenia and its on a little piece of greenery. I am having a hard time putting it somewhere where it will stay put. What do people usually do? Will it eventually attach to something? Please help! Thanks!

With xenia you can attach to a rock with a rubber band until it attaches. I have also attached softies to rubble by putting a piece of rubble in the bottom of a shot glass and the softy at top of the rubble and put it down at the bottom of the tank. Then you can glue the piece of rubble to where you want it on your rock.
