i have a tank with idol, butterflys and puffers with no inverts. the only thing i have in the tank is feather caulerpa and grape caulerpa and Evergreen Starburst Polyps (Briareum sp) that covers about half the rocks. everything was growing great until my idol found out one day that he likes the grape caulerpa and proceeded to eat it all up over the course of a few days. butterfly and and arothron puffer don't look twice at it. first off i have read some places this is not good to eat. but the idol seemed to enjoy it and seems fine. so is this stuff good or bad for him to eat? second, i plan on taking a piece of rock from this tank and moving it over to my other tank that has a potters angel and a regal angel. i am hoping this stuff will spread out in that tank as well because i think it looks really neat. but will the angels eat any of these three things?

Don't always believe what you read. Your fish is the best evidence of whether it's good or bad. Sounds like he likes it. And yes it'll probably spread in the other tank. You'll find out if the Angels will eat it...
