xm lighting photos

id like to see full tank shots of xm lighting
please do not say if its 20k,15k or 10k but please specify wattage and hieght of tank and if supplemented by actinics
i think this may help me in deciding.

Here's another one with the same camera, but dfferent setting. Pictures can play with your mind so seeing them in person is usually the best way to go if you have that option.

I'd really love to know this one as well. The colors on everything seem really crisp! I may order another set of bulbs depending on Jorge's reply to see what I think of a lower Kelvin rating. If it is 10k, I will probaby try 14k's or 12K's

did you play with the white balance for that one

the second picture throws me off the 20k

Yeah, the white balance was my problem. This was the first picture I took of the 20k's when I got them. You can tell it is an old one by the closed loop being there etc. I changed the white balance to the preset setting where it measures up everything and sets it as close to the original as it can get and that's where I shoot from now. Still not exact that's why I said seeing it in real life is quite different, but I will see if I can borrow a different camera sometime soon and see if it makes any difference
