Anybody ever see a anmone attach itself to a snail. I havent untill tonight. He has been dragging him all over the tank. It is a really cool purple carpet looking anmone attached to a turbo snail I have had for about 3 yrs now. Its really weird looking. I know he will let go sooner or later I just want to see what happens next. Steve

Thats AWESOME. That snail is going to get a great workout. I thought it was funny when snails piggy backed on each other...

That's great. A few months ago, I saw a RBTA attached to a snail at a LFS. Funniest thing, it got free trips around the tank for a couple of weeks.

Cool!!!

Steve,
Am I seeing a green brittlestar arm on the right side of that photo? If so, I wanted you to know that you should keep them target fed. They get aggressive if hungry.

Reefkeepers may wish to avoid the large green brittlestar Ophiarachna incrassata because of its notorious ability to hunt for other tank inhabitants. This is not something that is certain to happen, but it is possible. Some people report them consuming a wide variety of species, from snails to shrimp and fish, regardless of spot feeding.

So if you came across something like that at the LFS buy the snail and the anemone could be a hitchhiker.
