I've been doing a little research and I just wanted to see what you guys thought of these systems? To my understanding the corals are brought down to near death due to the low nutrients then "rejuvenated" with the zeovit bringing out extravagant color and growth?

That's pretty much it. I've tried it but if you slip up a little in your dosing the corals crash....HARD! I got some great color from them though. I stopped because I am too lazy to dose religiously, hence my crash!

Yeah...it seemed to sound like it maked things easier but guess not lol, I hope I don't get cursed for this but I just keep the salinity the same and add top off water with calcium and alk, testing that before and after and growth seems to be excellent

Yeah I get good growth doing the same thing.....my colors will start to lag from time to time but that just means i've been slackin on my water changes. Once I get up to speed on them again they color right up!I've a;so been able to get an extra pop from them using bluer color bulbs.

Amazingly difficult isn't it? LOL I wish I had pics of my first SPS system. It was VERY low tech yet I grew some stellar colonies.
