Ok so i have a Zoa rock i got off reef hotspot a few months back. One one side of the rock was green zoas, and the other side orange zoas. Initially the green zoas seemed to be overtaking the rock. Now i see one in between the green and the orange that has a green center with orange ring on the outside. It is the only one like this and it was not there when i got the rock.

Does this happen often?

Notice the green ones have a green center, and the orange ones have an orange center. And then the one between them which is a mix of both

Yep, really cool. I'm experimenting some coral fusing with palytoa and montipora capricornis. Fun that you got it without effort!!!! :)

I have had this happen as well....in fact I have safe crackers on a rock with PD's and I see a small PD coming in with an orange skirt
