Zoa v/s RBTA, The War of the Roses

Just had a Zoa colony land on my RBTA. The Zoas look fine, the bulb shrank up small and is hiding in the middle of some tonga branch where I can not see much. Anything to worry about or just let its stings abate and await it's return to full glory? Never had this happen in 25 years of reefing. As Rosanne Rosannadanna said "It's allway something"

So nobody has had a bulb anemone get stung by a zoa colony before?
Hard to believe.
OK, tonight, it looks to be opening back up, so hopefully all that was hurt was it's feelings.

I have a zoa colony and eventually want a RBTA. I am a newbie to reef stuff but learning fast. My question is aren't the zoe's "stuck" on their home as opposed to the BTA which can wander? Could you explain?

LOL, no the Zoas didn't go for a swim. The rock with the zoa colony got knocked off their perch, onto the RBTA that had moved under it. I have heard of Yellow polyps traveling though and killing what they landed next to.

There isn't a coral that can even come close to winning in a battle with an anemone.

Anemone should be fine. My problem is they always find a home right next to a coral.

What about those Hydnopora? I hear they are very nasty stingers. Probably not as tough as a RBTA thou.

My RBTA and Rock Flower are surrounded by Zoos and there are no issues to either one.
