yes but usually palys Depending what type) will out grow zoo's and they will compeat for realestate..
But no harm will come from them touching!

Yeah, Ive found that the ones with less color will out grow and over grow, the nices ones really fast.
I have frags and colonies touching each other and no harm is done..

I have had many zoas and palys next to each other, and yes the palys usually get bigger and like to consume the light and flow, but otherwise don't cause any harm. Had a rock covered with peanutbutter cups and a few fire and ice, and the peanut butters smothered the others until they just had no room to multiply. (still lived fine though.)
