Zoo swap?

Is anyone interested in organizing a Zoo swap? We could all bring a couple frags of what we have and exchange in the hopes of increasing our diversity.

I have one color morph in my tank that I can frag out several times & would love to trade for some other colors.

See what the interest level is and go from there.

I'm down with that. I have some nice pinks, green/orange that are really bright, some bright greens and some yellow mouthed brown bodied orange skirts too..

May I ask what makes a Zoo a morph? I hear the term all the time...

I'd be interested in a zoo swap. I'd also be interested in splitting the costs for a nice sized rock with good color and fragging it. Perhaps we could meet at one of the LFS that's central to all of us? Or, I know that Shelly would probably let us trade and frag stuff at her shop.

When are you guys planning this? I am interested I may have some nice greens, I will have to check how they are doing when I get back. In the future I will have some great pink, peach, green w/ purple skirts, burnt orange, red, aqua, and other colors available. Just waiting for them to grow out

Hey Tom! I was thinking a pretty casual event. Just get together and share the wealth (so to speak). I'm thinking we can just use this thread to picka good weekend to get together and meet up. Who ever is interested can bring what they have and we just trade and all walk away happy. Can't wait for those colors that you have to grow out. Sounds awesome.

Is Renton a fairly "central" location for those interested? I'm up North and I know Tom is in the South. Feedback on a location would be great.

Well, I believe the 18th is the date of the next PSAS meeting so that day is out. The 19th is doable for me also. Anyone else have any preference on the date of this swap?

Do you guys want to post some pics in this thread to set up the trades/sales or just have a suprise when we all show up? Also, how big should we make the frags so that no-one feels cheated in the end. I want this to be a great experience for all of us and everyone to walk away with a smile.

Reedman, I like your idea of posting some photos It will probably be hard trading frags that are all tramatized by being in a zip loc. I bet they'd all look the same at that point.

Well the weekend of the 11-12 would work for me, I have to work on the weekend of the 18-19, but the following weekend I will be off so that is the 25-26.

I have these to trade, photo's below. The first I have quite a few of (hopefully) unmounted, They are green and look amazing under actenics. The rest I could get 1 frag each of around 10 polyps if anybody has anything to trade for it. They all look much nicer then my pics show.

Since I happened to be going through and cataloging some of my photos, I did a quick white balance on your pinks so you could show them off a bit better. Hopefully this is closer to what they look like in person.

Good luck on the swap, if i lived any closer than Portland here, I would be in on it with you all.
