Zoa ID on a few plus Macro Shots from artguy1

Shot a few macros of the Zoas in my Nano yesterday. Wanted to ask a few questions about a few of them to all you awesome reefers out there. I would like to take the time to say that I have had the pleasure to buy and be given some great Zoas and palys from members of this forum...

Six lines problem. What should I do?

Dither Fish I would say if your system can handle the bioload, Dither Fish can be effective...but hard to capture if you want them for only a short time. Good Luck to ya, it's like trying to redirect a heat seeking missile...those six lines are fast ha!? artguy1

    600 Gallon Update

Great tank, thanks for showing us your pictures! Say, is that a potter's wrasse? How long have you had your wrasse? That's an awesome fish. Just wanted to know as I have a juvenile Potter's, wanted to know/see the mature coloration I really like seeing your behind the scenes set-up. Take 'er...

    Survivor: Gabon

Yep, a line of BS is right. Man, that bugs me that Sugar told Ace about her find. His tone regarding the control of the game or whatever he said (I'd have to look on the DVR to be sure) was somewhat arrogant. Not surprised, somewhat expected. He has some magnetism when it comes to the girl it...

    Survivor: Gabon

Bob the teacher is my FAV Let's see if Bob can survive this round. After his low number in the team line-ups one would think tribe members would be shooting for him, or a least looking for him to be a potential candidate. Hopefully people will welcome him and acknowledge his creativity and work...

Spoiled 30 and under crowd :)

You were lucky! All I had to play with were Lincoln Logs. I had to work when I was a kid. No really, I thought your description was great, pretty funny (AND ACCURATE TOO)...nice job!

    Survivor: Gabon

Hierarchy Selection, just like in the wild!!! Well, Kinda Not always as it seems...or as nature intended...people think too much I guess...my favorite guy Bob, the teacher, was selected way back in the team choosing/realignment event. I was surprised. After all, he made his "old"" tribes camp...

An invite for a fun night about fish!

Sounds like a great event! Does one need to be a member to attend this event? I'm really wanting to attend and would surely stick to the $10 donation.

    Survivor: Gabon

I like this thread....Survivor Gabon...sweet Everybody vs. Ace...I think his arrogance will get the better of him, he'll get kicked out soon Any choices yet on the final 2 players? I think the Doc and the Teacher, even though he is thin, he's fit and experienced...my 2 picks (even though it's...

What Mandarin Gobies SHOULD look like....

Kudos to you Brie, Way to save 'em!!! I like to live by the saying.."it's always right to do the right thing" Heck with all the bureaucrats and big bosses, you worked it out just right and these beautiful mandarins are thanking you, I think their mouths are saying so in the pictures, at least...

Halide Bulb Compatibility question, help please

I have an old Coralife Metal Halide System that I bought many years ago direct from Energy Savers. They were only offering the (2) 175 watt 5500 degree K bulbs in an OAK enclosure ventilated by a fan at one end. Anybody remember these? I am rebuilding the wood enclosure and would like to...

    SPS and Anemone in Nano

Think twice about that move... I have an RBTA in a 29 and it was OK in terms of size at first. I has grown to approx 7" diameter and is stinging a few corals I'd like to see do well. Probably going to offer it up for sale or trade soon. The RBTA is so beautiful and I've wanted one for...
