    LED fixture in a canopy?

    I had the same issue. I wanted my t8's as high as possible. I ended up going to TAP plastic and using 1/2 plastic stock to build a type of shelf for the fixture to slide into. Let me know if you want any pictures.

    Evergrow D120's feed back

    I have the Evergrow A8's. I have had them for about 9 months. They have run great, but I am having issues with some of the SPS burning on the top. I run at 60 % max for a few hours. Tank is 26 inch deep. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

    I learned the hard way as well. Make sure you maintain the correct temp posted on the paint can while drying as well.

    Normally a calcium reactor. I had the pump to the reactor break and dosed Calcion-P for about a month. Hindsight, I probably overdosed.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I just got done scraping my tank and the white substance is definitely calcium.

    I have almost the same set-up as you. What lighting do you have? I am about to switch to LED's, which will significantly reduce the heat to my tank. I am looking at heater(s) to replace the heat.

    Just to clarify, Is the GFO reacting with the nitrates to cause the calcium to precipitate?

    It does seem more like calcium precip. I also had a red/orange substance on all the surfaces in my tank, which I initially thought was red slime. After three treatments and several water changes, it did not go away. I am really curious now about the bacteria aspect. How this happened and how do...
