    BackwerdsMan's 20L cherry popper

Honestly, with the AC110 on the back, its all I need. I tried putting a second one in and it was just way to turbulent.

    Blenny killing my Acan?

So I've had this small Acan frag for about a month now. It was doing just fine, and then one day i saw it starting to turn brown. Checked all my params, everything was good. I have more than enough lighting for it. So I tried moving it to a place with lower flow, and lower light... as it was in...

    BackwerdsMan's 20L cherry popper

That's what I thought too... First time he saw them, he watched for about five minutes, then got up and put the tip of his paw in the water... quickly pulled it out shook it off, and hasn't tried since. Like most cats, he F'in hates water. I'm actually more worried about my big clumsy 1yo...

Way too much humidity. Need advice.

A dehumidifier(dry air) should increase the rate of evaporation. A circulation fan that helps the humid air escape the room would surely help. I would say your best option is to cover your tank. I had a piece of acryllic covering 75% of my tank, and when I got rid of it, my evaporation rate...

    Is my Reef Doomed?

What problem is that? I have large bristles. No problems at all, everything is perfect. Hell, I haven't whitnessed my large bristles do anything but good things. Had a small Cyano outbreak when my tank first started... and I had my largest 5" bristle come out after lights out, and I sat and...

    Is my Reef Doomed?

First off... Are you sure they are flat worms, and not bristle worms? Which are a good part of your CUC. Second, if all your params are good, and your corals/fish are healthy... You really shouldn't be worrying too much. Aiptasia infestations are a pain to get rid of, but it isn't going to nuke...

    OUCH.....Bristleworms!

The bad part is that all their stinging cells are like spider webs. you cant even really see them, so you have to just wipe them off with a rag, or in my case, my hand and some bottled water.

    OUCH.....Bristleworms!

Luckily I've yet to be stung by anything in my tank. My dad lives in Hawaii. We were throwin the football on the beach one day when suddenly my foot starts burning. I look down. Yep, nice size Portuguese Man-o-war, all wrapped up on my foot. Didn't feel good at all. Not to mention you get stung...

    BackwerdsMan's 20L cherry popper

Yeah, I'm not totally satisfied with the scape. I change it about every 2 weeks. That's not the AC you see on the side, its a very small filter I used when I first set the tank up. Unfortunately the AC is about 2" too wide to fit on the side. Sooner or later, one of my next projects is to build...

    BackwerdsMan's 20L cherry popper

So I've been at this tank(my first venture into marine tanks) for about 2.5 months now. I've noticed that in this hobby my OCD way of doing things make this the perfect hobby for me. I am now completely addicted. :D Tank is coming together nicely, but I still have a laundry list of...
