Nothing like good photos to tempt people. I may have to stop in tomorrow to check out some of these.

    Hair Algae Help!

Turbo snails have done a good job for me. Cleared maybe 85% of it. They don't seem to like it if it is too long so I hand remove the bigger stuff.

Is the Renton store going to start posting here or maybe in their own section?

    6 Line Wrasse

I put one in with my Royal Gramma and it almost killed it. Once the Gramma stood its ground I have had no issues and they are friends now.

    Feeding Coral

I think you did put too much in. Mine is usually gone in less than 5 minutes (except what the coral has grabbed and is slowly eating). My coral banded shrimp and Nassarius Snail get the extra that makes it to the bottom.

    Feeding Coral

I prefer to thaw it but that is so I have a better idea how much I'm putting in and all the fish have a better chance to get some. I don't think it matters either way though.

    Feeding Coral

I have a mix of LPS, mushrooms, and softies. I broadcast feed cyclops, coral frenzy and mysis 2 -3 times a week and my corals seem pretty happy.

    Aquapod 24g Skimmer

I looked into the Tunze 9002 previously and it didn't look like it would fit either.

    Aquapod 24g Skimmer

Hello, Does anyone know of a skimmer that will fit in the back of a 24g Aquapod without making any modifications to the stock hood? I've been looking at the Aquaticlife 115 but from what I've read it won't fit in a Aquapod. Thanks

    Substrate for Jawfish

Thanks for the good advice Todd. I was planning on only having a cleaner crew and a couple hardy soft corals from my other tank for the first couple months. Maybe I will wait a little longer. I want to make sure I have the correct substrate from the start so I can add the Jawfish later.

    Substrate for Jawfish

I'm going to be setting up a 24 Aquapod and I was thinking of starting with a Jawfish. I have been trying to decide what the best substrate would be so that it can build a proper burrow. I'm thinking of mixing sand and some Reef Substrate so that there are some shell bits for it to use. Does...

    Renton Store Open for Business!!!

It's great to see a new store in the south Renton / Kent area. Ever since Fish Gallery went under there hasn't been a store that was close.

Where do I find Sunpaq 27W bulbs

In case anyone else is interested: Current-USA just replied to me and they haven't had the 27w to supply to the distributors. They are expected to be available in a few weeks. They tell me the 32w are compatible in the 12g tanks and will not cause any issues.

Where do I find Sunpaq 27W bulbs

Thanks everyone for the help. I emailed Current-USA the other day but I'm still waiting for a response. AJNWEB, Thanks for the links. It looks like Coral Reef Supply has them in stock. Does any know if you can use the 32w bulb as a replacement or would there be problems with the ballast? It...

Where do I find Sunpaq 27W bulbs

So the Aquapod 12g comes standard with a Sunpaq 27W bulb (Model 2027). The problem is nobody sells replacement bulbs. The local stores don't have them and all the online store say "Out of Stock". Does anyone know where to get these replacement bulbs? Have they been replaced by a new model or...

    Anyone using new AquaticLife Skimmer?

This new nano skimmer looks interesting and I'm wondering if anyone has tried one yet? It runs around $50 so the price is nice too. http://www.aquaticlife.com/skimmer/index.html Thanks

    What about an LPS forum?

I second that. A LPS forum would be nice.
