    Nano frags!

Do you have a rough price range for nano frags? I'm wondering about the LPS and polyps. Thanks

How about a Flame Hawkfish or a Sixline Wrasse (or one of the other small reef safe wrasses)?

    Light Bulb Disposal

In the Seattle area I know that Bartell's will take your PC's and IKEA also has a area in the parking garage where you can drop them off.

    Tunze 9002 Nano Skimmer opinions

Thanks again Calimorphreefer. You information is very helpful and I will check out the Aqua Euro skimmers. I have been running this tank without a skimmer for about 3 years with pretty good results. I currently have a Royal Gramma, a Blenny, a yellow coral banded shrimp, LPS and soft corals. I...

    Tunze 9002 Nano Skimmer opinions

Thanks calimorphreefer for the info. I was afraid that it wouldn't fit under the hood. Does anyone know of a good skimmer that does fit under the hood of an Aquapod? I know that there are HOB skimmers but I'm one of those people who doesn't like to cut their hood.

    Tunze 9002 Nano Skimmer opinions

Hello, I am considering a Tunze 9002 for my Aquapod 12G (with hood) eventually to go on my Aquapod 24g when I get it setup. I was wondering a couple things about it. 1) What is the general opinion of this skimmer for a Nano cube? Is it efficient and quiet? Is it worth the money? 2) Does...

The writing is on the wall

Hi, I'm sorry if this is a little off topic but I also have a 12g aquapod that I used to have on my desk at work. I noticed in your other thread that you added a fan in the extra slot under the hood. Could you tell me how difficult that was and how did you wire it in? Did it take a lot of...

    Aquapod 12g Temperature

Yes, it is the standard canopy (no mods). A fan on the right side and an intake on the left side with venting slots over the lights. It is in my cubicle at work under a overhang so the air circulation may not be the best. I have order a small clip-on fan that I will be attaching to the shelf to...

    Aquapod 12g Temperature

Thanks for the helpful information. Since I have only been keeping saltwater for a year (previously only freshwater) I was worried that it was getting to hot. I'm not as worried about it now. The tank has two 27w CF lights. Removing the heater didn't seem to affect the temperature swing so I...

    Aquapod 12g Temperature

My first tank was a JBJ 12g that I bought already setup. The temperature always stay at 78 -79. I recently moved everything into a new Aquapod 12g. Now the temp is always 80-82. I removed the heater and shortened the amount of time the lights are on but it doesn't cool off much during the night...
