    Leveling a 300 gallon tub

    Why do you want to go through all the cutting? If you find the tallest leg and place spacers, that is flat boards you will have a level base. The rest will fall into place. Please think about that. When we build something the foundation should be level.

    I would set the highest cinder block and level the rest to it. Then 2 x 4's and [lywood directly under the tub. I would use womanized wood and cedar shims. You probably do not need the plywood

    I just set up a 70g with a plenum. 1" pvc arond the perimiter and a 5 mid suports.     I agree on the Brittle Star. I have several in my tank. Had me baffled They hid deep in the rock. Now I have one living in a lettuce clip! Some of their legs have different colors too.
