    well - yes and no. think about angels. one is 120 other 80 at 10" in height. if you raise your 80 to 15" than your spread will be the same if you look at the coverage. you lose PAR. you would lose coverage if you would go from 120 to 80 and not adjust the height.

    thats why you have to look at the right type of focal lenses. 3W cree at 100% power at 29" have over 200 PAR. I have a guy in NYC who has similar situation to yours and he went with 80 degree focal lenses since he wants leds about 15" the water. you have to understand your needs and creater...

    I am not into the savings per say and crazy calculations and arguments about savings - but what I will tell you - get the right color temperature and you will see stuff in your tank that you have never seen before and this is priceless to me.

    they may be releasing some new stuff every year so we can always wait for something better. 5W CREE bulbs are available online right now - i just have not seen anyone coming up with sufficient cooling system, internal driver and bulb selection for right color.

    it takes about 2-3 days for me to pick up the lamps once they arrive in US (custom clearence). than I would either ship to Cy or directly to you. I have to figure it out what will be cheaper since as of right now we are 15 lamps in total - I will work some magic with Cy on numbers.

    one more thing for those who are equipment junkies: later on this year there will be limitted edition of anniversary lamp released. About 50 units world wide. Red housing and with 5W CREE. so Black Python will be about 280W and IO 130W.
