Can't get it up!
I have an alkalinity question. My tank is 65gal w/ 15gal sump. I dose twice a week with 5 cap full of reef carbonate and once a week with 1t of reef builder. Both are from Seachem. I have been doing this for a month and my akl is 2 – 2.5 mEq/L. I test with Instant Ocean Akl test kit. Exp is...- 57reefer

Jerry, I totally agree. I have only been hear for 6 months or so but have learned alot. Ebveryone here is great and my tank is to show for it. See photo gal. Your from Ellsworth. Help help I"ve got bubbles on red alge on my rocks
Does it look like a carpet? I'm starting to get this on my sand bed. I remove it along with the sand that is stuck to it. I believe that mine is from Phos. I use ro water but it is reading trace phos. of just less of .05. What is your phos. level?- 57reefer

Reef Ready Overflows?
I have an allglass 65 with that type of over flow. I ordered it with the overflow on the other side of the tank for a small charge. No noise from that but my sump does make noise. skimmer return and tank return. Tom- 57reefer

Is one tank better than the other?
You can order the drain on any side you want... It takes longer but works. I ordered mine on the right side because of where the tank sits in the room. you can see it in my gallery. I used std plastic hose to get to the sump. It came with my LifeReef filter and skimmer.- 57reefer
