    Thanks guys. Great information. I guess if I decide to buy Carribean I can get it locally. The Fish Store has an immaculate reputation (they've even held fish for the new Ga Aquarium in their tanks) and I'm sure they will have ridden the rocks of nasty hitchhikers (or a least the most obvious)...

    I use Kent. It is a local company and easy to find here. Not expensive and works great with weekly water changes.

    I use a tetra Ph kit and it is fine, and cheap too. If you change your water every week and use RO / DI water then you can have that extra confidence.     Salifert works great but also I've done real well with a Red Sea Calcium Test but it is a little involved.

    Acclimation Procedures

    The drip method has always worked for me, never had anything give me a problem not even polyps. Just do like M&M says and drip twice the original water volume. Just remember do a slow drip.

    My New Lighting System

    The tank looks good and with out the canopy on there your water surface will make with contact fresh air better, and that's always good.
