Has anyone ran into this fish site?

Agreed...240,000 gallons and it seems like they make a lap in only a few seconds. :doubt: http://www.pdza.org/page.php?id=114 -augustus

    bite out of yellow tang

I would diffidently offer more than just krill. Try clams, shrimp, scallops, squid, silversides... Just like you and me, they really need a staple diet to be healthy. -augustus

    bite out of yellow tang

Now what kind of eel? I am leaning more towards eel just because puffers normally have more of a flat bite and not so arced.... Good luck. -augustus PS. check out LEE's diet and food sticky. Most eels won't take bites out of a tang unless they are really hungry.

I can't find it in any of my books, but the body looks very similar to a sandperch or pygmy goby depending on how big it will get... Good luck :) -augustus

    Identify Sea Cucumber

Looks to me like a variation of a tiger tail cucumber, but this isn't my specialty... However, I do know that every member of the cucumber family that I have ever read about does release toxins when stressed or dyeing. So I would keep the assumption that it will. Good luck :) -augustus

How to keep the water off of the floor?

I use this check valve http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/pumps-and-plumbing/plumbing-sumps-drill-bits-overflows-uniseals/schedule-80-plumbing-fittings-and-valves/check-valves/1-true-union-swing-check-valve.html It is clear so you can see anything in there, and there is no spring to...

    Angel Fish

Deffinently agree. Unfortunatly large angels will need about a 400gal system at that size and the tang should have atleast a 125 or so. Fish swim alot in the ocean and need to do so in an aquarium to keep healthy. As for life expectancy: Most larger angels (above 6") will live about 15-20yrs...

    Harlequin Shrimp

Once mine became fully grown (after about a year) he would eat a full choclate in about 3 weeks. I am not sure if feeding them more or less at a sitting is better. *Also, I would like to know their longevity becuase mine only lived for about 3yrs. Thanks, and good luck -augustus

    What Corals Can i get?

Not sure why it matters to you, but it is a aqua via that I have extended to about 2.5' tall and added a larger pump with a meshmod and larger venturi with home maid silencer. The cup (when adjusted right) fills up in about a day or two. I am a budget reefer so I do alot of DIY, but its done the...

    What Corals Can i get?

It would probably be okay if you knew how to mod it... but that will be more research and first hand experience. Check out octopus, ATI, SWC, or others with the same build and numbers. -augustus

    What kind of tank?

I would have to agree (me also having shorter arm's).... I had a 225 that was 30" tall and it WAS impossible for me to reach the bottom with my hand. Glass for sure. And I will do a island or penisula take the next time. Thanks, -augustus

    What Corals Can i get?

Please don't EVER use your age as an excuse!!! Being that I started when I was 12 (now 18) that is my biggest pet peve ever. It shouldn't matter if you are 10, 100, poor, or rich... All that should matter is how the animals in your possesion are being taken care of and that they ARE being taken...
