    Skimming too much?

    im not sure on names and stats for pumps as from britain but most local fish shops in england do not like the red sea skimmers and favour other makes, the reason for this is because they think they dont skim as good as other makes such as tmc v2's or tunze skimmers and are far less noisy.

    Can i keep a mandarin?

    i think its always worth waiting to add a manderin and a rufugium helps the main tank to feed a population of pods. it is also good to add more corals that may have flatworms on the as they also feed manderins although you dont go looking flatworms they will be their at some point. in reeftanks...

    i use inches and feet happily,not a silly question. im afraid in england we use inches and feet but most of europe use metric and we have adopted their measurements so now go between the two. thankyou for your nice comments all.
