hey cindy, Do you have them hard plumbed to the pump/tank? Or do you have flexible pvc or something in between? thanks for all the replies- fatjusto

Hey thanks for replies.... I wasnt planning on hanging the pumps by the plumbing but hanging a platform for them to sit on so there wouldnt be any vibration. I guess you have to use flexible piping as well. Im going to use a neoprene mouse pad to sit them on hopefully that will be enough...- fatjusto

Just wondering on ideas for mounting my pumps in the cabinet to try and minimise noise(vibration). I was thinking of suspending the pumps and using flexible pipe at the pump interface to try and dissipate vibration. what does everyone else do??- fatjusto

Yet another flow question
awesome thanks heaps. My pumps are able to be turned on and off either, I just had a randomn thought. I think Im just a bit paranoid as Im plumbing my tank up this weekend and want to get it right the first time!! Im just going with what i originally planned, both pumps full steam.- fatjusto

Glass tank drilling
I have placed them in a similar arrangement to nikki's tank. ie 4X1.5" outputs to closed loops and 8 X 3/4" inputs. the other 2 are 1.5" sump returns. The glass is 12mm glass (not sure what you say but around 0.5"). I havent filled it with water yet so will have to wait and see. I have...- fatjusto

ok I have actually just got in contact with a guy who services pumps and he says that this wouldnt be a very good idea as it would greatly reduce the lifespan of the pump. Hmm back to drawing board- fatjusto
