Do It
One episode of the dreaded red bugs and you will realize the importance of QT. I use a 10 gallon tank and treat all my sps as if they were infested with red bugs and flat worms no matter how healthy they look. Please, dont learn the hard way like I did.:) Sorry I dont have any advice...
I see people
Perhaps my eyes are playing tricks on me but back on page #2 of this thread, the pic. of the current hex tank, I see what resembles a dude wearing an orange sweater throwin his hands up in the air. He's on the left side. It's possible I just need more sleep tho. :|
With such a small generator you should be fine. Recently I applied ozone to my 180 and about a week later some acros bleached. Fish were fine. ORP went from 300 to 330 at 20mgs. an hour. Whether the two are related I dont know for sure but I have since removed the unit. This probably does not...
I apoligize for this. Fed-ex has different levels of overnight shipping and i quoted you the lightning fast service. This was my fault. Shipping will run $55.00 and be delivered sat. morning by 10:30.

I am considering a Current USA 1/3hp chiller to cool my 180 gallon reef. Does anyone have any experiance or opinions on the Current brand chillers. I sure would appreciate some feed back before plunckin down my hard earned dollars. :)
I just bought my first bucket of Kent salt and it measured 2.80 alk. and 400 calcium. This was done at 75 deg. and 1.024. I have not tested mag or strontium but so far I like the salt. This is a good reminder to test before adding to your tank.
