    OK I need help

Weld on #16 worked great for my extremely sloppy edges when I made a top-down photo box. I cut the 1/4" acrylic with my sliding chop saw with a blade meant for wood, I had chips galore. #16 was thick enough to cover up the gaps and everything sealed just fine. You might want to give that a shot.

Here is the quick before and after. The eye job isn't perfect but it only took a few minutes to do. I liked the overall composition of the shot and didn't want it to go to waste just because of a little eye issue :) The fish is in their display tank and I don't think it is for sale. I was...

You should see the before shot, the CBB has a really bad eye so I quickly fixed it. The "eye job" isn't perfect but most people wouldn't know otherwise.

    Nano sps Robertus

That is really a beautiful tank. I love to see so much done with a small tank. Do you really have that many fish in that system? 40 gobies and 10 other fish seems like a lot to me. Do you find any issues keeping so many gobies?

    Shooting good actinic photos?

Getting a good actinic photo starts with getting a nice and crisp shot, first and foremost. Turn off the pumps, use a good tripod, use a shutter release w/mirror lockup, lens perpendicular with the glass, and a proper shutter speed / aperture to match your subject. That will help with your...

I had the pleasure of spending a few (ok, four) hours at Barrier Reef on Sunday to snap some pics for their website and other uses. It was great to see such healthy and happy livestock. I shot over 350 pictures and I've only started to process them so I'll post more when I have time. There were...

Maybe it's me but that anemone looks really bleached and unhealthy to me.
