Stoopid question about Remora Pro and MJ1200

I have one ready, but the hose is not soft vinyl, but hard plastic, so the clamp just goes over the outside of the plastic and doesn't tighten. :(

    green button polyps

lol...if you actually read the post that you linked to, you would see that Mucho dips the polyps in fresh water with iodine....just what I suggested above. It won't kill them. lol I've had a few zoas in the past, and none have ever not made it through a FW dip.

    green button polyps

Don't destroy them ! Do a fresh water dip (make sure the fresh water is the same temp as your tank), keeping them in the FW for a minute or two. Put them back in your tank, and hopefully they will be fine. A little bit of iodine could be added to the FW if you wanted to.

Stoopid question about Remora Pro and MJ1200

Thats why I went for the MJ - they are sometimes sold with the skimmers. Hopefully someone who uses one will post how they fitted theirs.

Stoopid question about Remora Pro and MJ1200

Thanks for the reply. :) I thought it would just fit as well, but its just not snug enough to hold the PH there once its plugged in.

Stoopid question about Remora Pro and MJ1200

Ok, stupid question... I just got a new MJ1200 that I want to put on my skimmer. I had a Mag on it before, but its just too strong for the 20g. Now fot the life of me, I can't get the MJ to fit in the skimmer. lol The PH fits in there, but only just, and as soon as I plug it in, the force...

    Jumping Clowns

How big is your tank ? The pros say you should never have more than one pair/species of clown in a tank, unless the tank is more than large enough to provide each specis a territory. I would agree that they are likely getting chased by something. If the top of your tank is open, head to Lowes...

New tank - I got some questions!

I have a 20g tank (no sump) and have about the same evaporation as you do every day - mine is totally open on the top Since I don't have a sump, I can't answer about keeping heaters in there or in the main tank, but I do remember being told by more than one person in the past that its always a...

what are the signs of a blenny starving?

Steve, Just curious....Why do you say a 48 is a bit small to house one ? I know bigger tanks = more algae, but surely a smaller tank can still produce more than enough to supply food for one fish ? I bought a lawnmower blenny about a year ago for my 46g tank, and have since moved and...
