Anybody using a tunze wavebox or a wave 2k

I am seriously thinking about getting the tunze wavebox, I have seen the video of it on the tunze web site, and it look awsome. The wave2k device has to stick out of the water where the tunze looks completely submerged. The only thing holding me up is the $500 price tag.

    crushed coral and sand ok?

I have not run in to any real problems yet, and I do not vaccum the sand, that takes away from the whole porpose of the DSB to start with. I have high flow in my tank so very little just sits on the sand anway, and my clown likes to burrow under the LR to make little passage ways I guess so...

    crushed coral and sand ok?

It matters to whom you get information on grain size ant type of sand. I don't remember who wrote about it, maybe Dr. Ron, but I am not a 100% sure, but any way he wrote that to have a successful DSB you will need several different grain sizes from very fine to somewhat coarse, as far as...

    bubble tip anemone

It is perfectly normal, I have had several, well one that split several times, and each time it split the new anemome moved to find the place it preferred. They move to find the best light and flow, that suits them.

Crystal Sea Marinemix & Bio-Sea Marinemix

Crystal sea marine mix bio assay formula is the complete name, you are asking about one salt not two it looks like. It works fine, I used a bucket of it, it disolves slow and is cloudy for a day or so, but with plenty of water movement that goes away. I know some people get bitter when their...

    Best in sump skimmer?

I have a g3 and it really does work well, I have a very low bio load and I do weekly 5-10% water changes and it still pulls out 1/3 to 1/2 a cup of nasty skimmate.
