    I would run your light too during your rock cycle. (you dont need to)This will stimulate the "light induced algae cycle" I have noticed with new rock it will go brown and gross, then go to a cool light green haze, and then the coraline and other cool effects kick in at about 6-12 months

    AAWWW MAN should have made it 250 or more.. :( my new tank is gonna be exactly 250usgal. in water (not just the tank size I subtracted the inch of water from top of the tank that would be 262 usgal. )

    YES, kids are welcome for sure if you read back on the first few pages All the kids and family are welcome!! I will have collage football on the big screen, WII on another tv, in my daughters room, and Cartoons in another room .! :)
