    buffering and phosphates

    Are you using a RO/DI to prepare water? You will need to start dripping Kalk, that will add CA and buffer the system. Be sure to keep the SG at 1.025 - 1.026 as this will impact all the other readings and levels.

    Ways to conserve water for reefers

    For the aquarium water use in my house it is less than a drop in a bucket as far as waste goes and that's including the RO/DI. Better off concentrating lawn watering, showers, faucets running, etc.
