    Do go for a visit! I haven't been since April of '09 but receive their mailers. I was reading that they've expanded their reef exhibit and that many of the items are seized from illegal smuggling of items?? something like that.

    Sounds to me like the egg type things are moving.. they are just surrounding the hole. The 'creature' in the hole is what's moving. IMO

    Well bummer. Thanks for posting this. I just replaced the old heater in my hospital tank a few weeks ago with one of these...as our old one cooked a fish. :'( Guess I'll work on getting another replacement.

    Pellets - only because they are so cute when they beg. For dinner they get mysis as well as a seaweed sheet for Steve. About 1-2 times a week we feed a blend of clams, mysis and bloodworms (for color). We haven't ventured much further in the foods yet.

    We've had zero luck with tangs overcoming ich. Even with hyposalinity. I'd offer to keep your fish in our spare hospital but I'm afraid we'd just end up killing him... Best of luck!

    A 150 watt heater won't put you out too much. Last week they were on sale at Pets Mart - not sure if they are still. But it's certainly worth the peace of mind.

    93 is too hot. Our heater went wack and we lost one of our fish. :( Heater has been replaced and everyone is good now.

    Very nice! I'm more one for the "pretty colors" but those certainly are different than just about anything else.
