For crushed coral substrate cleaning I recommend vacuuming the substrate at every water change. ;)

    Params

It might be a faulty Salifert kit. There's been a few crappy batches of Saliferts floating around out there. IO salt usually mixes up to approx 9dkh, at least for me. Glad your getting your params straight. ;)

    Wet Dry - Questions

From personal experience I say this.... Wet/dry filtration isn't the best for reefs because of how inefficient they are at breaking down nitrate. They do a great job breaking down ammonia and nitrite, but are terrible when it comes to nitrate. Over time this will become a serious issue. A...

    Lunar lights

I'd be wary of it personally. Is there a way to mechanically fasten them to the hood? I'd be more worried about starting a fire than electrocuting your fish. ;)

    your experience>

    Show your filtration Systems

Filtration? Mine's all "in the box". All I run is a skimmer. ;)

    spongy id please

I agree with Herefishyfishy. Sponges. I'd say the tank crash did the GSP in, not the sponges.

    Zoanthids

Yes you can have all kinds of zoas in your tank. Just keep an eye on them and move them if they become aggressive. But in most cases there's no worries. ;)
