    Cleaning Crew...

I would suggest manual removal for bubble algae. Adding animals to get rid of it is hit or miss.

    Cool snails

From my experience, small meaty foods are what they prefer. It is possible for any snail to starve, imo.

    sad

Spongebob, sorry to hear this. Always sucks to have a fish go missing. :(

    A question of ethics

I agree Rich. I've seen this more and more, especially in the SPS trade. Many people have the miseducation that there is a huge resale market for corals in general. Unfortunately from what I've seen it is quite the opposite. You see people selling corals everyday on the forums with most...

They are my favorite snail. Whenever they come out to feed they march like little soldiers. Night of the living snails! :D

HELP! Light went out, dont know what to do!

Your corals will be fine for a few days. There's a thread going around about leaving the lights off for 3 days to reduce nuisance algaes. No worries. ;)

    Cal And Alk High

I would advise against the use of buffers. They create radical changes in pH which is detrimental to your inhabitants. Mantis shrimp are known predators. I wouldn't trust it. ;)

    tube snails

No luck with hermits here. Unfortunately my tank is too small to keep a Copperband. I've heard they can do a fine job, but sometimes it's hit or miss. Good luck. :)

    Major Problem Please help

gandolf - what are you nitrates and phosphates reading? Also, do you use RO/DI or Tap water?

    The mini mantis is clicking

Mantis shrimp are generally predators. Not to be trusted. ;)

Whats the worst thing that could happen

You need to use the Calculator to dose. Don't be afraid. It will give you the exact value to dose so you won't overdose. I use it all the time without failure. And by all means, don't dose what it says in the instructions on the bottle (or guess). This is asking for failure. And yes, your...

So what the scoop on led lights????

The price will come down. It's a fairly new technology and only one manufacturer in the aquaria market is making them at the moment from what I've seen, Solaris. Give it a couple years and it will be like everything else.
