    Help on 4 month old tank needed!

    I not sure what kind of corals you are really into...softies, lps??? But IMO I would get rid of that Damsel before adding alot of stuff, he might end up being troublesome down the road when trying to add new Fish.

    I agree w/Nikki on this one...its a 50..50 chance. I got a Coral Beauty w/almost the same fish as you in a 80 gallon softie tank,and he was in my 27 for a while too w/no problems(except he liked my clams)hence the move to the 80. Its hard to say if he will be problematic, IMO I would try it out...

    Ive serviced alot of tanks w/the g-series skimmer on them, not one Ive run into has had any problems. All around good skimmer.

    It dims the intensity of the lighting a little, If you just got him recently. I would give him a week or so and see hows he is doing then. From my experience it sometimes takes some corals awhile to open and adjust to a diffrent living environment. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    did you acclimate it too new lighting conditions, if not you might want to try some egg crate or lower you lighting period for a week then slowly bump it back up to where you have it now.
