    Thankyou Lee, I think it is best i stick to the softies for the sake of keeping this fish (which ofcourse i don't mind). While we are on the topic, if i keep mainly soft corals that are completely safe from the Idol, will an Emperor Angel be ok with those corals also, if i add one??

    lowest temperature for mixed reef tank

    I'm not sure what temp this is in Farrenheit, but mine sits at 24 degC in winter and goes up to 25.5 degC after the halides come on, and it sits at 27 degC in summer and goes up to 28.5 degC before the chiller kicks in. Ofcourse there are no wild fluctuations, these changes take alot of time...

    Thanks for the help all. I will get some frozen marine green food today and see if a LFS can get me some live macro. Will let you know how he goes, will be devastated if i lose him!!

    I've had my 6" naso for over a month now and he looks very healthy except for a pinch look right at the tip of his belly. He feeds on spirulina brine, Hikari marine pellets and dried Nori. Any other natural food is hard to come by and don't know what else to do. He goes nuts at feeding time but...

    Will have had my Idol two years in August. Generally they are reef safe but will pic at some zoanthids,duncans, and similar (well, mine does anyway).

    Sounds good mate, just watch your magnesium with the kalk drip as it can be caused to deplete quickly. Otherwise yep, i will go for it,will keep postin updates for you brother!

    Every coral mate, last time i had all, acro's, lobo's, softies, but no clams. I have a few acro's in there now and will start some softies, but i think i mainly want to focus on clams and acro's with softies filling up the spaces. At the mo calcium and hardness is taken care of by Seachem products.

    Long story short, this tank was a reef once but sold off corals to do diff fish. Had no luck with the fish so doin a reef again. I am workin on it slowly, any ideas would be great please!!

    Yeah i know, the prob is i can't see what these look like as they are sold over the net. Just got an email back from the company and they say these bulbs are genuine Geissmann, so at 14000k (which is what i currently run) i think/hope they should do the job???

    Prob a good question for Lee, if i add a small Idol to my 190g, would there be fighting with my current Moorish??? One LFS said it would be fine, another said i'm asking for trouble.
