    Clown pimples?

I'm assuming NO2 and NH3 are undetectable? As for the water changes, try to proceed as I've suggested. It may not seem like a lot but it can make all the difference.

    Baby Starfish???

Asterina stars are not usually predaceous. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-06/ac/feature/index.php

    Baby Starfish???

Image is too small, try and post something larger 600x480 pixels. It's more than possible on the starfish but not that likely. More commonly this will be a hydroid jelly, Staurocladia oahuensis (I think?).

    Clown pimples?

Only treat with the Ultra Cure PX. It will address both internal parasite and worm. For now, feed with foods including garlic. It will greatly reduce (although not cure) the problem. The Gel Tek is unique in that it forms globs once dropped into the tank. This makes it especially versatile for...

    Clown pimples?

What was the last wet item added to the tank, how long ago? Has the clown attempted to host any of these, especially the Ritteri? This is most likely unrelated to the bump below the operculum but you need to treat this one for internal parasites. Might as well deworm at the same time. Ultra...

    Clown pimples?

How long have you had the clown, was it QT/treated, what tank mates? Could be anything at this point so the more info you can provide about the tank, the clown and it's cohabitants, the better. If relatively new, also include acclimation technique. Has the clown been dewormed or treated for...

    info on a Moorish Idol

Go with a Heniochus acuminatus instead. Much safer, stabler long lived species in a captive environment. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/heniochu.htm Didn't show up for me? http://www.nlpublish.com/fishfood/

    question about live rock

I would also ask this person if the area has been exposed to any kind of chemicals. Being in a barn (?), fertilizers, rodent poisons, anti mold/fungicides etc would not be uncommon.

    Tang and Ocellaris

There's absolutely no way to gauge the damage caused to the main until it happens. Definitely do as Hoops suggested and wait a minimum of 6 weeks before adding anything new/wet to the tank. Be watchful of your current stock but do not jump to unnecessary conclusions. What was the Regal sick...

    Parasitic worm on Regal Angel?

I would leave well enough alone. If it doesn't return, count your blessings.

    Question about Nudibranchs

Too general of a question. Read the site I linked to and you'll get plenty of answers. If you always take the easy road, your not going to accomplish much ;)

    Question about Nudibranchs

I guess my link didn't go as far as I'd have liked.... Also not a Nudibranch http://www.seaslugforum.net/display.cfm?id=4316 Please start here.... http://www.seaslugforum.net/factsheet.cfm?base=hexasang

    Question about Nudibranchs

It's a sea slug- Opisthobranch, not a Nudibranch. The adhesiveness of a Nudibranch is not what makes them hard to keep. It's the fact that they are more commonly fixed to one prey item and usually down to the species level. This makes keeping an almost impossible task.

    Mandarin dragonet project

Why not consider training it before it is placed in the community tank. A 32 gallon tank will not be a successful place for this kind of species unless you do so first. Even if adding a refugium or restocking with pods regularly, it is not a long term plan. Eventually either cost or allowable...

How do you get a blind fish to eat?

That would actually add to the problem, not help solve it. You do not want strong scent items used nor enticement items like garlic or fish/crustacean juices. This would only serve to confuse the fish further and make it harder for it to "zone in" on the food type. Keeping the source stationary...

    Question about Nudibranchs

Do not attempt to keep these kinds of Nudibranch's no matter what tank you have. They have specialized diets that cannot be substituted and will 99% of the time perish in a few short weeks/month. The slug mentioned by Crazy Clown would be a much better option. You can get some very detailed...

    What is it????

PM LeslieH and ask her input in this thread. Looks like a type of Eunicid but Leslie's the one to ask.

I gotta ask, what's the benefit in removing them?
