    big tank for newbie?

    I have a 65g main tank....have not upgrade since I started 3 1/2 years ago. But you'll run out of room real fast in a smaller tank.

    That's what my snails used to look like. I was removing them everyday for awhile but couldn't completely get rid of them until I added a wrasse.

    Well, one ric flew away. I had glue on the stock and not around the side. I'm going to try this method tonght. I have used shot glass and rubble before, my rics shrunk a lot when it was in the glass. Also used bridle veil, rics got stuck to it most of the time, too tight? Never have been...

    I've lost a few snails when I discovered pyramid snails in my tank. Didn't get to my clams. Ever since I added a wrasse, never see another pyramid snails again.

    Gluing down ricordias

    I have heard many have glued ricordias without any rock attached. I tried it last week and two hours later rics flew off the rock. I used enough glue but not overdoing it. Tried it again tonight....will it stay?

    This thread really cracks me up:lol::lol: It would too scary to keep a spreadsheet of how much I spent. I can't even remember a month that I didn't buy something. Sometimes I have to work on a reward system:lol:.....get something(projects) done, then I can buy. Doesn't always work, I buy anyways.

    Vinegar works great! I heard muratic(?) acid works even better, but have not try it yet.

    Can this tank be saved?

    On our 45g....my husband popped the seam by picking it up from the top. He used a liquid glue for acrylic, then re-enforced top and bottom seams with a square rod bought from Tap Plastics.

    Six Lined Wrasse? Hiding or Dead?

    I lost my six line after about 3 months in the tank, second one disappeared after 2 days. Both jumped into the overflow and got sucked down to the poly filter. No more six line for me.
