    Fastest in wall ever

I have been trying to find a natural predator for the cali tort, seems to be pretty invasive. I assume you are asking about the sump? There are a couple pics on the first page. I have added a frag tank to the system which is not pictured. Let me know if there is something specific you would...

    Fastest in wall ever

Thanks for the compliments on my poor quality pictures. I have just got a DSLR, I went with the Nikon D90. I do not have a macro lense yet and am beginning to wade through the user manual. I am hoping to get crisper pictures with the stock lense (18-105mm)and will eventually go the macro...

    when to change Co2 tank?

Why would you change your tank prior to empty? Is it to avoid having to adjust your needle valve? As pressure diminishes I adjust to keep same bubble count till empty then refill and adjust back.

    Fastest in wall ever

I have been motivated by others recent photo's to add some updated pics to my thread. I took the pics under acticnic only which gives a 20K look to the tank for 4hours, 2hours either side of the 7hour MH's. Got blue sticks?

    harlequin

Good news, got up this morning with a flash light and found the linkia. Now he is in the sump. I have a starfish I caught crabbing in my freezer which I am planning on feeding him. How often do you feed them? Roscoe what happened to your shrimp, they just disappear over time?

    The Great Pudget Sound Experiment!

I would guess most things you find in tidepools could tolerate room temperatures since the tide pools can get very warm on summer days. I am sure their lifespan would be shortened.

    how hot

You have my room beat for space which is a 5'X7'. Good luck with the heat, I am no fan of hanging out under the house either, although I have to go back under myself to finish another project.

    how hot

My Iwaki is hot to the touch, cant keep my hand on it more than 30 seconds. Does your fish room have access to your crawl space? I ask as I use my crawl space air to cool my fish room and exhaust out the outside wall via a bathroom fan. I run a 180 with 1000W lighting and am able to keep it...

    how hot

Are your pumps under the stand or in a separate fish room? The temp rise makes sense if under your stand, if they are in a separate fish room then I would be surprised they would cause that much heat. If you do have them under the stand I am sure you can cut down the heat impact by using fans...
