    Where To Buy Frags?

Yeah its really easy to miss if you dont scroll down a bit and know what your looking for... But do be warned they are small frags though, but at 15 bucks each what did you expect, right? But they are aquacultutred and will normally grow very well in an aquarium enviroment and some can be out...

They are pretty cheap as far as prices go but a tad on the small side and sometimes limited stock. Great bunch of guys though!!! Rumor has it they are moving about a half a block further down on 1st street in to a much bigger shop. This ought to really give them the room theny need to carry...

Do You Have Red Acro Bugs?

I had them and got them courtsey of a frag from one of the online dealers several months back who has since started to treat thier tanks with Interceptor. It affected a number of my corals. I wasnt able to get interceptor so I had to use Sea Chems reef dip at elevated levels to rid myself of...

    Switching bulbs

I agree with maxx, he threw a lot of tight info out there for you to run with. I also agree with mattseattle as this is exactly how my 135 SPS/Clam tank and 300 gallon Frag system is set up. I have several different halide set ups and 400 watt 10K XM's are almost identical color wise to 250...

    Let's Talk About ~Foods~

Well I guess I will add a little... I blend up my own fish food, using a couple of different types of fish fillets, some various types of shrimp, scallops, oysters, squid, Krill. Of course I get all of the juice from these guys and drain that in the processer too along with 5 mil of Reef Plus...

    Hail Algae+Valonia

What size is your tank? Unless its really small as in under 5 gallons, I would add a lot more clean up crew to your system. This may not stop it from growing in your tank but it would go a long ways in keeping it from getting out of hand by consuming it.

How many prop tanks out there?

Wait a minute I got to resize them... This pic is a couple of months old and at the time had 56 SPS/Softie frags in it. I am about to add at least 24 more or there abouts in the next week or so if I would quit procrastinating so much... This tank is about 5ft x 6ft oval shaped about 2...

How many prop tanks out there?

I am currently running a few of the rubbermaid 50 gallon Cattle water troughs with SPS corals and some softies. These are pretty cheap, easy to plumb, fairly shallow which makes great use of the lights without having to invest in big stupid dollar lighting set ups, and provide a lot of space...

    Best LFS in Seattle area

Come on now, Japanese drivers are...well "responsibly stupid" drivers(LOL). They do some crazy stuff but at least they let you know they are going to do it and appoligize for cutting you off when they do...

    Solomon Island Live Rock

Just a side note, might check out www.mdmaquatic.com as they seem to have some pretty respectable prices on live rock at the moment. I am hoping to make a 100-150 lbs purchase in the next 4-8 weeks. I will more than likely get the Kaelini and some Tonga Branch or Tonga/Eva.

    Please view ASAP!!

I used some super glue like gel from GARF. But I would imagine that any kind of thick super glue or even silicon prehaps would work... I glued the air line valve to the bottle where I cut a small hole and then ran the tubing off the air line valve to drip into my tank. I just set it up on top...

    Please view ASAP!!

First, good to hear that things didnt go too far south on you in that little set back. Thats a real relief from where I am sitting! Another suggestion, unless the tank is large, if you have a store that caters to reptiles, there is a pint sized dripper that works very well for just 5 bucks. I...

Multiples of Sadness......... Big time snafu you made there. Hope things work out for you and it recovers. I think "its all over but the screaming and the shouting" for your RBTA though...not looking good. Normally I mix 1 tbl spon of Kalk with a gallon of RO water and let it sit for several...

    Which Janitors??

About the size of half a tylenol Gel Cap on average. They are pretty small. I have had very little incedence of this in my tanks and usually its another bigger hermit. I like the small size becuase my snails are pretty much off limits to them and they are real busy bodies too. They will get...

    Which Janitors??

I can definitely vouche for Reeftopia. 120.00 order or more is free shipping still, gotta love that. Its the only place I order my clean up crew from! The Asteras are indeed great. They take good care of the rock and glass. The Cerith and Nassarious are great for the sand bed. The...
