    What do you mean by just clean chaeto? Thats the only macro algae I have in my sump. No Calupera in my tank at all. You can have like a sandwich size bag if you want. Its full of pods and bristle stars.

    Dont really have many options without using powerheads. You can either drill more holes for a closed loop or get a larger return pump and have multiple returns. Could always use a SQWD or a SEASWIRL for the returns.

    I like just having a ball of cheato in my sump. Grows fast and isnt invasive if some gets into the display.

    Let us know how you like the new Korillas. I was thinking about switching to them since you can use them with a wavemaker, but am going with a closed loop instead now.

    Pay/Frag it Forward

    pay it forward frags is a great idea. My local club here has a "share the love" thing. People give corals with the expectation that you wont sell them, but frag them later and give them to someone for free. I try to do this when I find a new member who lives near me and give them a frag or two...

    Use playbox sand?

    Has anyone used playbox sand in their tank? There is a place here that sells "playbox" sand for $9 for a 50lb bag. Its actually sand from the oregon coast thats been dry for a long time.

    Im really loving my clams

    I'm jealous. I can't have clams. One of our fish likes to munch on them. But he was free to us because he was eating his clams. So I guess I can't complain too much.

    This happens to me too sometimes. I just take a little out at a time and let it mix for about 20 min before I check again.
