    I have an ecco system 24 " model I have a powerhead in the sump feeding the external skimmer and a bag of chemi-pure attached to the side. I will place some photos in my gallery the tank has only been running for about a week and a half.

    So should I break The feed line to my skimmer and put the UV filter between it. Cane I place my chiller between the feed from the main pump to the tank?

    I am planning on getting a Aqua UV Filter where would you recomend setting it up I Have a Refugium so I was thinking of Breaking the feed line from the Pump to the Aquarium.But I also am going to instal a Chiller so I gUess I would break this line also. Please give me your opinion. Thanks :)

    Good news after cleaning the filters in the refugium all day yesterday and the skimmer working overtime when I arived home today tank was crystal clear I rinsed the chemi pure bag for about 20 minutes and everything is still AOK.     I been running chemi pure in my refugium for a couple of days now andit is giving off a large amount of soot is this normal. I rinsed the bag before I put it in.

    Thanks I mixed up some tap water in the rubbermaid and added salt and a powerhead. the RO/DI pumps out 100 GPD. The Live Rock is from Saltwater.com

    I am setting up a 70 gallaon reef tank I have a Protien Skimmer, Refugium, and a UV filter I want to get about 100 Pounds of Live rock to start the cycle . But I still dont have the right Lighting . I can afford to buy one but dont know which one to get First. please give me your input. :D
