How do we get new people in Reef Frontiers?

You must really get around. I only see that once in maybe a 1000+ posts. While it may happen, it's more like a question about "what salt is best?" type questions when there are countless threads already on the subject. And when I've seen the use the search feature response, there are always...

How do we get new people in Reef Frontiers?

One of the things I've noticed is the younger crowd would rather go to social media ( facebook) than a forum. I've talked to local people until I'm exhausted about a local forum, but they say that they prefer the other.

    I'm still around.

    Hiring a plumber?

There are a few people around who need help with plumbing issues. But when dealing with pvc, it's so simple that most people figure it out on their own. And the people who are totally afraid of risking water spills pretty much stay with tubing and hose connections. Then there are a lot of plug...

    Giving it up.

I can sympathize with your situation. I am 67 and have been retired for 5 years myself. The wife retired this year after falling and breaking her ankle at work. So, I also wonder how long I can maintain what I have, with a limited budget. In my case I have had a fish tank either fresh or salt...

    Return pump

I'm not knocking DC pumps at all. In fact I'm a big fan. I current have them on all my tanks and am currently waiting for a Vectra M1 coming in the mail today. I have not had a tank as small as a 20 that needed a sump pump, so my guesses would have to be specific to brands such as Eheim, and...

    Return pump

I know the price is attractive, but remember Jeboa pumps are know to be undependable. IMO money for something as critical as the return pump should be spent on pumps with proven track records

    Return pump

Figure out how many gallons of water the overflow handles and then get a pump that will pump less after head loss.

    GIVEAWAY: The JBJ Nano ATO

    New lights

Without knowing anything about the lights, it's pretty tough to give accurate recommendations.

    Live Aquaria salt for sale

I'm not dumping it because I don't think it's not a good salt ( in fact I'm keeping a box ), the price reflects what it cost me when it went on sale.

    My Custom 66

There has been a ban on most indo corals and fish for about a year. Give or take a few. It's really driven up the cost of corals and fish. Alot of aussie and south pacific stuff is what you see now.

    My Custom 66

Thanks. That poor torch has been through hell and back. I've had it for several years and it keeps surviving dumb mistakes by me. Now with the indo ban going on the value is really high, which kind of makes me a little nervous. lol
