    Tank cycling?

Personally, I wouldn't wait at all. The only reason you would get a cycle is if the LR has a bunch of die off. I've done this many many times without any issues.

    sps coral

Carbon for Fresh water and Saltwater tanks, sold in any Local fish store and most pet sections of most retail stores. It removes toxins and pollutants from the water.

    sps coral

Hmmm, With SPS corals its real hard to pin point why one will suddenly die. It sounds like the first one died from a fight with a chalice. The second one could also be a casualty of the chemical warfare the first two had. I would do a large water change and run carbon. As long as no others are...

Man oh man! what do you do to make your acro's so darned furry? Do you remember the name of this one?

    sps coral

12 is a bit high but as long as it is steady shouldn't be an issue. Alk swings are the most common reason SPS corals recede from the base. Was this coral new to the tank? Was it a large white spot or a few small ones? Did it look like pale skin or was it suddenly missing flesh?

    Jabao pumps

The full apex package $499 has four VDM ports built in. I ordered an extra VDM module so I can have two sets of powerheads (tunze's and Jeboa's) and then control four channels of LED dimming. The apex is set up to control tunzes which run from 0-10VDC. The jebao's use 0-5VDC to control speed...

    Jabao pumps

Yes, there are plenty of DIY threads on how to cut the contoller off and splice it into an apex. I plan to do it to at least one of my two.

    Camers lens diam. ???

Oh, after rereading I get it. You're asking for the hole size to cut into acrylic or something like that. The 18-135mm lens on my wifes new camera is 67mm for a 2 7/8 cut out The 18-55 on our old camera is labeled 58mm for a 2 3/8 cut out Our 55-250 telephoto is also 58mm for a 2 3/8...

    Camers lens diam. ???

Not quite following you here Dave. DSLR lens's vary in many ways depending on what you're trying to do with them. Point and shoot, Macro, wide angle, telephoto and the list goes on. They also range in price from just a couple hundred up into the thousands. I've seen more than one lens for over...

    SPS Frags on their side

If your tank and coral are healthy the cut end will heal no matter how you leave it (unless its covered in glue). You can glue any SPS coral on its side after fragging. I typically don't with birdsnests because they don't encrust much if at all. If I had a small branch that looked funny and I...
