    It looks a lot like Holey Rock (honeycomb limestone). If so, it's usually used in Cichlid tanks because the pH of it is good for the cichlids.

    When the lights are on during the day, open the feeding flap. When you turn off the lights at night, close the feeding flap. Another option is to run a shorter photoperiod or put it on timers for 2 shorter photoperiods in 24 hours

    They are almost impossible to kept fed properly. Not just this species....all ascidians (tunicates) are.

    It's possibly a munnid isopod. I personally don't worry about them.

    The chaetomorpha will grow much slower so it won't export as many nutrients. But it will still grow.
