Hi Andee, Most likely you SG (specific gravity) went up due to the extra evaporation due to our warmer weather. You need to remember to adjust you SG slowly so that you do not shock any of your critters. I would do water changes very slowly with RODI and that should bring it back down for you...

I am setting up my 180 now and just got a ETSS 800 skimmer with a dedicated Iwaki 55RLT pump. I hope to have it plumbed in the the near future. I beleive you get more out of your skimmer with a dedicated pump from all my reading. Good luck. Karen
