    hi there. thank you for your reply....we only see them at nite..and now that you mention it..not quite sure if it was eating the bits of algae on there or what..but i think its the spiniod worm..looks JUST like this pic I found..the top part is what we see..and what we plucked out..the bottom...

    2 more pics of the bugger here are the last 2... But..I am reading all over here and I am seeing the red flat worms..and they are the ones that are round and flat.. THESE are clear little stretchy worms..and retract SUPER fast when you try and get them.

    Getting new zoos..how long till open?

    ya had a shipment of snails came in..I had 10 in my tank ( 20gal long ) and they didnt make it..I threw them out. I am thinking that is what spiked my stuff. The tank is 2 weeks..however...its water ALL from my 2 yr old 185...sand from established tanks..and liverock from my 185 and my LFS...

    Just curious..when you all get new zooz and add to your tank..How long does it normally take them to come out? I havent got any in such a long time..and just got some yesterday..and they have not come out all day today. They were in their bag for 3 hrs till I got home..in a stryofoam box..then...

    There is a brown substance over some of the polyps. You can see in one of the pics of stars doing good on the other side of tank. There is some cyno in the tank on the bottom in which I am working on with crabs, snails, water flow..I have yet to treat with a chemical. It does not LOOK like cyno...

    My little moon light fell into the tank..my 20gal..and the plug in melted..so I am pretty darn sure I threw a current in the tank. The five little star fish are all dead..and my zoos are all closed up....they got shocked I am sure. do you all think they will recover? Course I am leaving them...

    Current vs. Coralife???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Im going to change my halide bulbs. 150 14k What is a better bulb current or coralife??     Ya..softies. They are 8mths old...and I am 2mths behind on changing them....I figure that is my problem. THe zoas looked good for about a month in there..then went down from there. WIth the changing of the bulbs..will they get their color back? Maybe?
