Right now we have 3 150watt 10K MH and 4 96watt actinics on our 185 reef.
My zoas have bleached out some and same with some of the mushrooms.
Its time to change our bulbs.

Would you think changing to 20K would be better for them and would they get their color back?

oh okay, you answered the question I had in your other thead. So this is a softy tank.

How old are the bulbs you have now? How did your zoas look while the bulbs were newer?

Ya..softies. They are 8mths old...and I am 2mths behind on changing them....I figure that is my problem. THe zoas looked good for about a month in there..then went down from there.
WIth the changing of the bulbs..will they get their color back? Maybe?

is it possible too much light? what schedule are u running? do you have a pic of the corals bleaching? did you change your food supplement? did you add a new skimmer?
