    Pinkfloydfan Can you talk more about the Mag to Cal ratio. I also read somewhere about the 3:1 ratio but forgot where I got it from. Is it true? that the number usually 3:1 that being said you don't have to check your Mag if you know your Cal level ?

    Yes, the fish's still stress given w/ the new environment. He should be ok after a week or so, try to lure him out by feeding the tank.

    I use Red Sea Salt. No I run Calcium Reactor. Rarely tested if test the # is CA: 420-460. Mag 1310-1350. Alk 8-9. PH 8.4. Salinity 1.025. always like that. And Alk of 6.7 IMHO is way to low.

    flow is the reason why makes it puffy. And if you feed them daily or weekly they multiply fast...nice little guy you got there, i like the stripes haha.

    you dose Mag right? because Alk is always 8-9, calcium is always -> 400 depending on the salinity you mix the salt this applies for fresh-mixed saltwater. Mag is never that high in even though in your tank or fresh mixed saltwater. btw your tank is way to low on Alk, Cal is ok. I guess since alk...

    I don't see any thing wrong w/ it. I have bunch of acans and they're like that like after you fed them. inflate really puffy then turn to normal acans. I think it is more w/ flow too. Hope that help.

    I actually had this guy, very modern citizen in reef community, no picking at coral whatsoever. One thing I'd be cautious is the tomato clown, pygmy is very small, be careful if the clown picks on him. Other than that he is very active and love to pick algae from rocks!!!

    Ok, so I just bought couple zoa frags...dipped them in Revive first, carefully put them in the shaded area, today I checked them they're not open, yesterday first time in my tnak they open a little.... Is there anything I can do, I heard of iodine dip not sure if it helps, I don't have iodine...

    how big is your blue tang? blue tang is a peaceful tang, tomini is a semi-agressive tang. wrasse is compatible with the tangs, they don't fight.

    Very true. IMO I like fish take care of the nuisance anemone. File fish, copper band butterfly. peppermint shrimps sometimes work some don't depends on the species. Chemicals imo seem to help spreading the nuisane.

    when you visit the guy's tank. Does it appear that he cut it in half? I mean sometimes the anemone stressed out when in bag and probably split in your tank just you haven't notice it. It happnened to me also, found two anemones in my tank when I bought just one.

    now you have the red hadonni, nice pick. It is very rare to have the red haddoni if not super rare. :) glad to enjoy the nem.
