Go BTA! With your Clown's they will love it. From everything I have read so far, the BTA has best survival rate and success. The two I have seem to be doing fantastic. They both eat Krill and cyclopleeze and I think the clowns bring them a little food when they eat too. They seem to be...

Nice tank Morgan. Sorry to hear that Krish! I'm sure it will work out soon enough. Do a large number of the livestock sent your way die in transit? When are you making the switch to full-blown reef? Are you waiting for stability, new equipment, etc.?

    Lots of NewBee Questions

Hi, I'm pretty new also, but I have rec'd some great links and help from Reef Frontiers. Here are some links that helped me make the switch... http://www.wetwebmedia.com/plumbingmarart.htm http://www.melevsreef.com/ At least that might give you some idea's. I know Mel goes into detail on...

I need some comments and advice

Go Big! Why the heck not! I would think your "new" tank will eventually be just as stable and healthy as the your "old" one because you are doing the maintenance. Might be some growing pains, but I'll bet you'll have a blast...

    Tony's 90 gal.

Thanks, yeah maybe the smaller/younger the intro to the reef, the better the chances? We'll see. I don't have any SPS, mainly brains of various types, some zoo's and xenia. The only thing I have seen him mess with so far is the heater! I will keep his progress updated here.

Hey Tony - I have Scott Michael's Marine Fishes. According to him, they can be housed in a reef tank. May nip at sponges, tunicates and ornamental crustaceans and snails - but harmless to corals. I read on Wetwebmedia that this species of trigger can go either way, sometimes they are...

    Krish's Bahamian inspired 90 gal

I have 25 lbs. of LR ready to go and I have that 29 gal. I want to setup for a QT tank. I will put most of the LR in my display, some will go in my QT and/or sump. I don't have anything to put the 29 on right now, I need to find a stand or something that can take around 225-250 lbs...

    Tony's 90 gal.

Thanks Krish! Thanks Gaby! I think they look pretty good too. I like the metallic black much better than the chrome color I had with the old ones. LFS got me a hanging kit, they are using one just like it in the store. Looks very professional and nice, I think I may do that. I can barely...

    Tony's 90 gal.

Christmas came early! LFS called and my lighting upgrade came in. He is too cool, he let me trade in my old unit at cost for credit on the new lights. They are the Aqualight Pro 48" 150w HQI MH. What a HUGE difference. Almost lights up the whole room, LOL! Here are some pics... With...
