    Rio vs Mag

    I have had 3 rio 600's going since Oct 2003 without a problem. Keep them clean. I notice the newer ones have a much thicker plug wire. I wonder if the thinner wire ones were the problem everyone talks about. John

    Just wondering what everyone uses to spy on their tanks in terms of a magnifying glass for the close up look-sees. I have a small square one but get a headache from squinting through one eye. John

    Been spying on my tank at night (moonlights) and seen hundreds of small white dots everywhere (only at night). They are on the acrylic, on the LR - well just all over. They appear to be like snails. Is this something to worry about? Should I have some kind of control fish in there? Everything...

    Thanks Ray I would like to hear more from anybody about anenomes. I have heard good and bad stories on their care. Most of my LFS don't even carry them. I would like one just to add "movement", that is a swaying motion in the tank, realizing the clowns may never touch them. John

    Hi Cesar The Aquadoser is a system by Kent Marine used for dosing. I want to use it for topping off evaporated water while on vacation. I was wondering if any one has used it and if it was difficult to set up. I am trying to find a users manual online but have had no luck. John

    Glass or Acrylic ?? Vote Preference

    I like acrylic. Treat it like a new car (no sand on the cleaning rag) and it will stay clear.
