The overflow is coast to coast. "Close to it anyways." It has built in closed loop running with 4 sicce 530 gph pumps. The return pump is 2400 gph but runs this tank, chiller and feeds skimmer.

dang that is some serious movement! I'm still not really sure what coast to coast is. I'm gunna google it haha. what lights are you using?

Nice aquascape. Your going to need more flooooooowwww....................

hey matt. you should check out the jebao wp40's. they are pretty cool pumps. they put a lot of flow. nice pulsing flow. i just added two of them to my tank

Cool Designs.... What is the recommended daily allowance for flow LOL.... I have heard 10x hour and I have heard 18x hour

they are more like guidelines, and everyone says something different. I have heard somewhere between 10-15x for lps and softies and 15-20x for sps but whatever floats your boat works too haha

Love the aqauscape Matt!

What did you use to hold it all together?
Gravity or something more?

I've recently ordered 75 lbs of Marco Rocks for my 120 and I'll be playing with the 'scape on that when it arrives.....
Still trying to determine the best method for what I'm looking to do.

Maxx

great question!

I really took my time with this and researched methods..
I use 3/8'' acrylic rod and a 3/8'' masonry drill bit.. its all "bolted/rodded" together..
I built the aqua scape's on a tarp on my floor and labeled the rocks numerically while photographing each phase so I didn't get confused trying to rebuild it in the tank... it was difficult but worth it!!!
the rocks are flexible but stable!!!

cheers!
Matt
