20000k AB DE Bulbs

Oh yes, I had the 14000k bulbs from Hamilton and Phoenix and I wanted a bluer bulb which the 20000k bulbs from AB provide. I just haven't compared the 20000k AB bulbs to other double ended 20000k bulbs. That was my point. Yes, I like the ones I am using now more than the 14000k bulbs and the 10000k bulbs from a visual perspective. Now I am awaiting on the actual coral response to these bulbs

Ahh...well let us know how things wind up.....
I'm thinking of amking a switch to another bulb here in the near future.

Hey Chuck, good luck with the switch and I hope you have good results. I ran the 20k AB's for a year and although I really liked the color (I use no actinic supplements) the coral growth was less than acceptable. If I recall looking at some other 20k bulbs in tests, they put out a considerable less amount of PAR.

Screen Has been removed

Well I took the screen off and watched my Clams & Sps All looks very well and Very happy with the Light I still have the light fixture about 4" higher than Normal I plan on Droping it next Thursday. I am very Happy With mine Chuck I am Running Actinic white on one bulb and super Actinic on the second for supplemention And this is giving the Tank a more white look I hope to see My sps take off I will watch & see ...Jeff
