240 cube reef tank

Figured I should probably start a thread here instead of continuing with the design thread. Tanks is 4'x4'x2'.

Here is a pic of the stand so you can get an idea of the size. I'm about 6'5" for reference.

Last time we measured the Carpet anemone it was over a foot and a half wide.

Actually the corners are 4x6s I think. Tank has been up and running for about 2 months since the upgrade. Almost everything made the move. Lost a Cali Tort frag. But everything else seems to be doing well. Still need to re-run all the wires. Waiting for a pump. Our closed loop pump died so we are trying to source another Dart. After that I can hide all the wires.

Very nice setup! I've always liked the look of cubed tanks!

Hooked up the new pump to the closed loop. Can finally take all the powerheads out of the tank. Also just go ta bunch of new sps frags. Will post pics later. Now I just need to skin the stand and build a canopy.

Here are a few pics. Havent Posted anything in a while. We're trying to be entered into the bad photo club with some of these pics. A Fellow member was nice enough to be building the skins for us. The canopy is almost finished

Our pump showed up, so now we can start doing daily automatic water changes..... Just need the tubing for it.
